After you PREPARE your lesson plan well, you begin your LPIA class by REVIEWING what your
students have learned in the previous sessions.
(10 minutes)
Break the ice. Draw, show pictures, sing, play a song, or even act related to today's lesson topic to
raise your LPIA students' INTERESTS in learning.
(5 minutes)
Now it's time for you to PRESENT what your LPIA students need to achieve. Mention real-life objectives. Why do they need to tell some numbers or pronounce words correctly?
(15 minutes)
Time for your LPIA students to PRACTICE. Open the book, play some games, guide them, and ALWAYS give examples. Assign them in groups, pairs, and individuals.
(30 minutes)
Let's see if you really are a good LPIA English teacher. CHECK your students understanding by asking them simple questions. DO NOT ask "Do you understand?"
(5 minutes)
Let your LPIA students prove themselves. Assign a final task individually. Allocate enough time for them
to prepare before they go to the front of the class.
(30 minutes)
Remember:
"A mediocre teacher tells. A good teacher explains. A superior teacher demonstrates. A great teacher inspires."
-- William Arthur Ward.
